Tried "ux0:/data/pfba/previews/rom-name.png", "roms/media/mixrbv2", "roms/mixrbv2" but none did work. Downloaded the pre-made image zip files with the images, and tried all the combinations described in the readme and on this thread, and none works. I assume this is a limitation of the app that can have only 1 folder set for the rompath for each platform?Ģ) I can see no snapshots. I tried to add multiple paths for my arcade games, replacing the colecovision rompath for example, and when running PFBA, it thought that the games in the other folder were colecovision, showing games as colecovision. Also the first path is always the rompath for arcade from what I understand, the second is always colecovision and so on. Console emulator has always been the thing I understood the easiest.Quick question: installed the latest version of PFBA from the github site moved the zip content in /data and the app run fine (although takes forever to load at startup, I guess because it is reading all the rom gamelists files) although I can't solve 2 problems:ġ) my arcade roms are in different folders I tried to modify the config file, but it gets overwritten so you can only have 10 rom paths in the config file. There are ROMs, but then there are also SAMPLES, and some sets are merged while others are split. I'm a complete noob when it comes to arcade emulation. Here is the corresponding folders where roms should be located (as stock fba): pFBA support title, preview, and icon images in 'png' format. I suppose an alternative is to piece together the set myself by finding the required ROMs from the various sets around the Internet, but I'm hoping for an already available set that I can grab. pFBA support console roms (Sega MegaDrive, Sega GameGear, Sega Master System, Nec PC-Engine, Nec TurboGraFX-16, Nec SuperGraFX, Coleco, SG-1000 and MSX). Is there someone that can help me out? Thanks in advance.
I basically want the FBA emulator to show EVERY game as playable (not missing) - the complete set, which according to the emulator is over 6000+ games. I have the option of using a set that has 2000 files, or another that has 5000 files, etc.
The number of ROMs available in each "complete" set differs wildly. I also have some version of a FinalBurn NEO ROM Set downloaded. I downloaded the "MAME 0.37b5" ROM Set before realizing that it isn't what I'm supposed to use for FBA. I've searched and previous posts on Reddit, without finding an answer that I'm satisfied with. The FBA emulator I have installed on the RG350 shows version 0.2.97.44 which is what led me to believe this is also the ROM set I will need. I'm having enormous difficulty finding the 0.2.97.44 Romset for FBA. The FBA 0.2.97.44 Emulator on RG350 shows there should be 5807 ROMs, yet the "complete" set I found is said to have 5646 ROMs total. If you're curious, just search for FBA 0.2.97.44 on YouTube, which is where I found the download links. Edit: I managed to find a complete set, including images.
